Jesus Loves Cole!!!
This is the story behind this video....
Cole loves to sing. He loves "You are my Sunshine," "The Itsy-Bitsy Spider," "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star;" the list goes on. He especially loves to sing "Jesus Loves Me." He also loves to watch me use the video camera or take digital pictures, so he can see what's going on from the other side. The problem with that is, it's very hard to video anything he does because he is constantly trying to run to the other side. He doesn't understand that video is live and he cannot see himself! It's hilarious!
So this video is him holding his baby Bible, singing, "Jesus Loves Me." Sorry for all the camera shaking, but I was having to chase him around the whole time. Check out the look he gives me toward the end of the clip, before he finally gives up and says, "LET ME SEE!!!" This is just too cute, I hope y'all enjoy my precious little man!

4 months old!
Cole is finally beginning to feel better. Bless his heart, he's been so sick. He hasn't had a fever in a few days, but he has been coughing really bad. He is still so much better than he was this time last week. I hate to see my kids sick. :( It's been hard for him too because he is normally extremely active and he always wants to play with his sister. I've done everything I know how to do as far as keeping the germs at bay (if you can even do that) like washing my hands 5 million times a day, disinfecting things, etc. So far, Raleigh and I are still fine, but Eric has developed a really bad cough and isn't feeling great. So I told him he needs to stay away! Ha Ha
As far as the house goes, we have had 2 showings and an individual call for more information on the house, so that's really encouraging for us considering the house has only been on the market for 9 days today. We have found a few new construction homes that we like, so at least we have some direction of where we may go if and when the house sells.
I have a really cute video of Cole holding a baby Bible and singing "Jesus Loves Me." I will post that later to share. It is precious!

House for sale, sickness and milestones!
As if all of that isn't enough, my little baby girl, and I do mean little (she is not quite 4 months yet) is rolling over on her own!!! I had her on her back playing on her play gym, and I walked into the other room to get something. When I came back, there she was on her tummy, just looking around! I was so excited, I started screaming and called Eric into the room for him to see. He was really excited as well, but nervous. He is so afraid she will suffocate or something. Sweet Daddy; he's so concerned. I had to assure him that she was fine. If she can roll over, she can turn her head to the side. Now, you can't lay her on her back without her rolling over. She has discovered she can do something else now, and it is fun for her!
She hit a milestone today. It's fun, but next she'll be sitting up, crawling, walking, and then getting married! The time is just flying by.
Sorry about all the shaking on the video...Cole was climbing on my back trying to see the camera!

Kids say the darndest things
As most of you know, Eric is an avid hunter and has "corrupted" my son into loving hunting and fishing....ha ha, just kidding, Eric! Anyways, Cole is always talking about hunting hogs and deer, well, because that's what Eric talks about a lot. So, the kids and I had to make a quick trip to Target this morning to pick up a few things. On our way in the store, a woman who is in the Army comes walking out in her uniform. Immediately, Cole, who pays VERY close attention to detail notices that she is in camo and announces loudly, "Whoa, Mommy, look...she is going to shoot some hogs and deer!!!!" I did not even look back to see how she reacted, but I did crack up and told my sweet son, "No, baby, that's the wrong kind of camo. She is in the Army just like Daddy was." How funny is that?! He saw camo and made that connection. Can you imagine what else he'll say? I love that boy.
I will keep y'all posted on our house situation. We are getting the house ready to put on the market. I know as a Realtor this is one of the worst times to try to sell your home, but it's also one of the best times to buy a home because of very low interest rates and home prices. I am already SO stressed out because we have so much to do to get it ready and Eric is working all week, but hopefully by this weekend it will be ready to go. We've decided after being here for 5 years and 2 kids later (did I mention a ridiculous amount of toys, also!) that we have outgrown this wonderful home of ours and we would like something bigger. It will be bittersweet for us; we love this house, but it is time to move on, that is, if it is in God's plan for us. We'll see how it goes!
