Well, the house is officially FOR SALE!!! We listed it Wednesday morning, and it was shown Wednesday evening! We were so excited; that was a promising sign for us. My wonderful husband, my little brother Wes and myself laid sod that same day....6 pallets! Oh yeah, did I mention that was the hottest day this week?! I should probably take myself out of that equation because Eric and Wes did most of the work. Thank goodness Wes came over to help; Eric and I would have been working into the night! The yard looks better than it ever has in all 5 years we have been here. The house looks amazing too. Kinda makes me want to stay, and then I go into Cole's room and see how many toys he has, and the rest of our "stuff" hiding, and I come to my senses that indeed, it's time to move on to something bigger! If it doesn't work out, we will be fine here for awhile longer, but it would certainly be nice to have more space.
On a not so good note, my little boy is really sick. He came down with a high fever yesterday afternoon; it's staying between 101-102 degrees, and peaking at 103. It is the most helpless feeling when your kids are sick; I wish I could take it all away for him so he didn't have to go through it. I took him to the Dr. this morning; he said his throat is really red, but luckily the strep test came back negative. He thinks it's just viral, but we will continue to monitor him and take him back if his fever persists through Monday. Hopefully, Raleigh won't get whatever he has. It's hard to keep him away from her because he loves her so much. At the pediatrician's office this morning, I sat Raleigh down in her carseat to pay for the office visit, and Cole walked over to her and put his hand on the handle bar of the carseat and stood there, like he was guarding her. SO SWEET! He is so protective over her already. That will be so nice when she starts dating! Here are a few recent pictures of them. The puppy Cole is with is Lexi, Uncle "Bubba" (Wesley) and Jessie's new dog. Cole adores her. Also, check out the pic of Eric carrying Raleigh in the "papoose" as he calls it. Kind of an inside joke between us, but I finally got him to wear it.

As if all of that isn't enough, my little baby girl, and I do mean little (she is not quite 4 months yet) is rolling over on her own!!! I had her on her back playing on her play gym, and I walked into the other room to get something. When I came back, there she was on her tummy, just looking around! I was so excited, I started screaming and called Eric into the room for him to see. He was really excited as well, but nervous. He is so afraid she will suffocate or something. Sweet Daddy; he's so concerned. I had to assure him that she was fine. If she can roll over, she can turn her head to the side. Now, you can't lay her on her back without her rolling over. She has discovered she can do something else now, and it is fun for her!
She hit a milestone today. It's fun, but next she'll be sitting up, crawling, walking, and then getting married! The time is just flying by.
Sorry about all the shaking on the video...Cole was climbing on my back trying to see the camera!
